Just a quick post to point you to this book interview I just did with Jess of Diary of a Mom fame. Hop over here to her blog to take a look! Jess's blog is excellent, so you may want to stay a while.

A longer post to follow at some time later, I promise! Too hot to do much thinking in the summer. I hope to get my brain cells back by fall!

Just a note- Jess only goes by her first name now, for privacy :) Might want to change that.
ReplyDeleteThanks, done.
ReplyDeleteDiary of Mom "fame?" Oh that's rich. In her own mind maybe.
ReplyDeleteAlso, saw this mom a couple of times at events. Spitting image of Amy Roloff (short arms and all) from the TLC reality show.
ReplyDeleteI like how neither of the parents appear to have jobs. The husband doesn't work and the I think someone said that the wife left her job too. Must be nice that no one has to work in the family yet they live high on the hog and vacation a lot. Who in the autism world can relate to that for goodness sake! No one that I know.

JM-be glad you don't have to witness her enormous ego in person. She's perfect, her kids are perfect, blah, blah... It gets so old!
ReplyDelete-a mom
Stumbled on this blog and saw this. She wrote long ago all about pushing her older daughter to be a Ralph Lauren model. One has to wonder if they have used that money to buy their big house in Newton allowing the husband not to work. From reading her blog, she'd be a perfect stage mother.
ReplyDeleteThat's ridiculous, as is all of the negativity that appeared out of nowhere on this entry. Her older daughter is nine. Hardly old enough to be a model, and she would never do something like that. She is completely dedicated to her kids in a way that moves me greatly. Whatever their financial situation is is none of our business.
